Adding more wrasses to tank with 3 wrasses?

Hi everybody -

In my 110G display tank, i have 2 Cirrhilabrus sp: Red Headed Solon Fairy Wrasse, and exquisite fairy wrasse.

I have 1 McCoskers flasher wrasse as well (initial phase-one inch). I just moved them to DT a week ago.

There is a yellowfin flasher wrasse (terminal phase male -two inches) and 2 more cirrhalibrus sp. wrasses that i would like to acquire.

Am I asking for trouble trying to add 3 more wrasses (mostly concerned about the compatibility of the two flashers)? I really enjoy them, but i have read that it can be a problem if they were not all introduced at the same time. I am willing to take a chance if the odds are good.

THanks in advance for your feedback!

Regards,
David

I have added wrasse after wrasse over the past few years...I now have over 30 in my 450 DT...IMO the key to success was an 'acclimation' box after QT...24-48 hours before release...and I have not had a problem, yet!

Albano- wow you are a wrasse nut! Question - what do you think about having 2 flashers specifically in a 110G? The other 2 wrasses i feel more comfortable with and would use an acclimation box - that seems like a very good method.

You'll be fine if you use an acclimation box. Multiple flashers, multiple fairys; makes no difference there. They're such close cousins as it is.

Arriving tuesday!
