Adding new zoa's

So I just introduced 2 zoa frags into my tank and was wondering how long I should wait before adding more? My tank has been running for 3 months now and I think I am just going to keep zoa's and a few different polyps in my tank with a few fish to keep it simple. I know patience is the key to this hobby but now that I finally have something in the tank other than snails and hermits....I have the itch to add more. :)

I would make sure that the zoas are healthy and opening before you get new ones. Sounds like you don't have fish in the tank either which is what I would buy first before you add more corals. You could add a ton of coral have them all be amazing and then add fish and have a tank crash. Corals are not going to add a bio load to your system like fish do. Your tank has to be prepared to handle the ammonia/nitrites/nitrates and keep stable levels before your corals will be ok.

BTW I am from Brielle and live in Spring Lake Heights, always good to see some local reefers. What stores are you going to?

Mike,
I forgot to put in there that I do have two true perc clowns in there for about 2 weeks now. I got the fish and zoa's from tropiaquarium in ocean but I am thinking about buying some stuff from bluezooaquatics or reefhotspot now.

Where do you go?

Trop is very good but can be expensive. They just started to get in more frags but most of their zoos are huge which for a 39 can be too big. There is a store right across the street called Reef to Reptiles that I also go to. They have frags and colonies but their frags are much more impressive and are a very good price. I have picked up very nice zoos there on the cheap. If I want to take a drive aquatic obessions is a great place, but a 40ish min ride.
