Adding to an aclimated True Perc

Amphiprion percula.

I have one of these "true perculas", and would like to add a few more.

How many can I have in a 120? I have a LTA that the percula has made her home, and I would like to have a male that could breed with her.

In addition, I have a green carpet anemone, and would like to host a pair in that animal.

Can I just add three more to the existing one? What will happen?

Then, what do I need to do to encourage spawning?

Thanks

You might get away with 2 pairs. Spawning is iffy, copper in an LFS can damage they're reproductive systems. So your looking at a 50/50 shot.

What if I get them from the web. . .does everyone use Copper?? How do the aquaculturists get them to spawn??

My bigger question is will a newly added percula, smaller than the existing one, pair up?

I notice how defensive she is, and I am afraid that she will attack the new one.

No... Liveaquaria might be a good choice. Many sell percs as ocellaris an vise versa.

We hope that's how we get them to spawn

You get a structure when the new little guy can fit but she cant. This way he has a safe place to go if she doesn't like him.
