Adjusting a MeanWell question

Am I wrong in thinking that by adjusting the SVR will reduce the drivers voltage?

I am trying to figure out how to run two parallel strings of 12 on one 69-40P and the "wizard" states that any amount above 36v incoming is a concern for the power being dissipated by the resistors.

So maybe some one will see this question and answer it.
Would I be safe using a 12 X 2 parallel array with 5W 18ohm resistors and 1000mA fuses with a source voltage of 48?
