Advice 4 setting up Maroon tank

I have a gold stripe maroon for close to a year now. It is close to 2-2.5 in long now.

And it is being a pain. She is slowly bugging the few soft corals I had in my large community tank by rubbing ,and or knocking them down. My last piece is my Elegance coral which she is moving the sand around it and into it.

So I have a 30g laying around that will now house the maroon. << is this big enough.?
What about adding zoes from my DT.? Other softies.? Type of nem [best choices]
recomended tankmates.?

You get the idea here ,help me in my ignorance.:hmm6: As im intrested in mainly a tank geared towards keeping the maroon happy. But not very sure what to put into it.

What are the dimensions of the 30 gallon? I have a large pair of maroons in a 29 gallon, but it has a large footprint. It's 30" wide, 18" front to back, and 12" deep. I personally wouldn't go any smaller with maroons, but that's just me.

I would put a pile of small rocks in the tank, with several BTA's on it. Maroons are very harsh on their hosts, as you have seen, so having multiple anemones helps to spread the love.

Its a 30 long 36x12x17h
And I have plenty rubble rock plus a couple medium sized rocks in my main tanks sump.

And yea I saw that vidio you linked to. Where they were moving that rock around.

I got pretty lucky with my maroon clowns. They dont mess with anything else in the tank other then their rbta. They are obsessed with it i guess and dont venture out and around the tank anymore. Mostly just stay in the immediate area. Have you got an anemone in your main tank that can host your maroon clown? Maybe she will leave the other corals alone if she finds a nice host.

My DT is mainly SPS and zoes. I am concerned about how adding a anemone would change the interactions in the tank.

The last nem I had was a rose BT that wouldn't stay put. It went into my overflow twice. Which caused it to split into three separate nems. And it parked itself on top of my rock.
Since that time [2yr ago] I went from 6x54 T5 ,to 2x250MH w/2x110VHO so maybe the amount of light available then and now will make a difference ,IDK.

Adding another tank wasnt my first choice. I just thought that a separate tank for the maroon would be a better answer. Am i wrong in my thinking here.?
