Have a frag pack coming tomorrow. This will be my first real attempt at Zoa's and I am new to corals. Any quick easy advice about acclimation, placement, etc. would be truly appreciated!!!!!

well when i get zoas i just acclimate it to the light for 20 min then i put them in zoas are hardy corals easy to care for but if i was you cause your gettin them shipped just put them in a pitcher with the water they came wit and the add you water slowly to the pitcher till it fills up a bit then dump some water out "not into the tank" then fill it up slowly till its just your water in the pitcher 20 min process and then to care for them do a 10%water change each month and keep your water parameters in check each week thats what i do.. good luck man. im addicted to zoas i got like 8 different kinds :)

Just like any other coral from someone else's tank, it might be harboring nasties, even without the tank owner knowing.

Dip them then watch them grow. They are generally relatively easy to take care of. Warning, I have had colonies I have had for months that just whithered away and never knew the cause. But that does not happen to commonly for me, just 3 times in 3 years. Enjoy.
