Advice needed for white cotton like affliction

I have a small female watanabei with a cotton like substance primarily on fins, a bit on her side. She went through TTM without issue, gained a couple of spots on her tail shortly after prazipro treatment in observation tank. I thought it looked similar to lympho, but it appears to be getting worse. She is still eating but not as well as she was a couple of days ago. What should I treat with?

I haven't been able to take a reasonable photo of her condition & haven't found any pics online resembling her affliction.

Looks like lympho. It will go away on its own with good water quality and diet. It's a virus, so there's not much else you can do.

Thanks guys....most awful looking case of lympho I ever saw. I'll step up the water changes, change carbon in the QT weekly, and add vitamins. I have selcon & zeovit's immunstabil & fish amminos on hand

i was thinking the same thing...really bad case of lympho. the selcon will help a lot. my kole tang went through a bout of this while in qt. i started using selcon and vitachem and he recovered quickly.

good luck with him!

Where did you get this fish. I had a female from watanabei DD that had the same thing just not as bad. I was able to get it cleared up by putting her in my DT where water conditions were much better than in my QT.

I will as she continues to recover. Still hiding most of the time, but feeding more aggressively and some of the lympho on her body is gone now
