Advice Needed on 100g

I was given a 100g tank that had been sitting outside for about a year or more. My question is that the top plastic rim was broken, so I removed it. Will I be ok leaving it rimless or would need to add a center brace so it will not bow? Thanks

ya i would deff not leave it rimless. especially with a 100g, i would think that those things are there for a reason.

Last thing you want is 100 gallons of saltwater all over your floor.
