Advice needed

I'm setting up a new red sea reefer 350. I got it filled with water and noticed that the tank shakes a little bit when I'm walking in front of it, or when my kids are running pretty close around the tank. The house does have a crawl space but its too small for me to even get under the house, pretty much just lifted a little bit. I do have another tank set up on the other side of the house, but its about 30 gallon less than the new one. It also shakes a little bit, but its been fine since I got it set up a little over a year ago. My question is, would you continue up with this set up or just stop now?

Did you buy the Reefer 350 brand new or used? I've setup many Reefer 350 and have never had a problem. Did you assemble the stand yourself? Maybe it's a faulty stand. If you bought it new you should contact Red Sea and see if they can send you a new one. Their customer service is great.

Its not the system itself. The stand is very sturdy. Its the floor itself. Its my house. Its not on a slab. It has a tiny crawl space.

You may have to figure out how to add some extra footing under your house to strengthen the flooring
Doesn't sound like it will be an easy task since you can't get in the crawl space.

Shaking that much water is bad.

How old is the house?
I believe the house was built in the 60's. It was remodeled when we purchased 4yrs ago, but I doubt the flooring was touched. It has original hard wood floors.

Yeah I was thinking that. I was gonna get some floor support at home depot, but I wouldn't even know how to get it under there.

The shaking is more like jurassic Park 1 shake when the T-rex first showed up and you see the ripples in the water lol. Water does not spill over or anything. Just thought I'd poll the experts.

Do you know the orientation of the floor joists? Parallel to the tank, perpendicular?
Best thing to do is checking under the house; if there’s a small access, then there’s gotta be some room to go under.
Some people have have installed jacks under their homes to support the floor without major work. Also you’d need to know the type of soil under and if it gets muddy during rainy season or loose sand.

It’s probably not safe long term. The constant shake will eventually compromise not just the stand but also the silicone seams. Some of my customers reported this.

Maybe a video would help.
Shows how it looks when I'm jumping right in front of it. For reference I'm about 205lbs lol. The water is leveled its the camera angle that makes it look uneven. The beginning is when the pump is running then I start jumping

I wish I knew. I just know there's an access to the crawlspace and I'm too claustrophobic to go under. There really isn't that much room though. And the access is all the way to the other side of the house.

Hard to tell but looks like it's leaning backwards too[emoji2369]

Is it level front to back and side to side?

Either way, I'd drain it until you get someone who knows what they are doing to come and access your floor situation. They shouldn't transfer that much energy.

I'm sure your fine. My 80 gallon is on the 3rd floor and shakes when my kids run by it or jump. If you place a cup with water on a table and hit the table the water will ripple. Thst doesnt mean your table is bad. And the worry of stress on the seams as other members have stated shouldn't be a problem. As far as I know no one here has a flow less system. The flow in our system is basically ripple and waves caused by the powerhead I dont see how it differs. The elevated floor isn't sitting on a solid slab its elevated so it's going to have some give when weight is added.

It also looks like it’s not level, I would suggest shimming it as best you can and adding floor joist supports under the house. They aren’t terribly expensive but that would help pick up where your floor joists are most likely sagging or compromised.
