I have a mated pair of Bangaii Cardinalfish. They have been successful in raising babies to the point that they are no longer being brooded in the male's mouth. (I don't know if this is the proper terminology.) They are currently in a mixed reef tank. I think I'm going to need to put the fish in a different tank to be able to feed the babies what they need to survive. I have another tank- 37Gal. with a pair of tomato clowns that I plan to get rid of and 3 anemones that I plan to keep. If I put my Bangaiis in the smaller tank with the anemones will the anemones eat the babies or will the babies be able to avoid them?
