advice on powerheads for 90gal

i'm wondering which powerheads would be most suitable for a 90gal (48x18x24) with mixed sps and soft coral.

i need strong surge/random flow for the acros and a future anemone.

i'm definitely getting the 7095 controller.

it seems like the 6000 or the 6055 would be the ideal choice (if i can wait until late march)... or can i get away with a lower capacity model?

will a wavebox do pretty the same job as the combination of the powerheads and controller? it seems like you have much more flexibilty with the powerheads.

I would get either 2 6000 or a 6000 and a wavebox to get the flow you want. The 6000's would be my preference because they pump more than a 6055 and they can be upgraded to 6100's for more flow later. The wavebox tends to really increase polyp extension.

IMO, magnets are the best way to mount these.

How do you upgrade 6000s to 6100s?

i see they have a transformer upgrade available.

You just buy the bigger 7410.602, that is the only difference between pumps.
