advice on rabbitfish eye issue please

I apologize for the lack of a pic. I've been trying for the last hour and it's not happening.

My blackspot foxface rabbitfish is currently experiencing some sort of eye issue.

If you're looking at his left side, his eye is irregularly cloudy and the area about 10 or 11 o'clock in front of his eye is swollen. The eye itself is not protruding unusually (no popeye).

My gut feeling is this is some sort of ocular trauma from banging into something, hence the swollen tissue in front of his eye and irregular clouding of the eye, in addition to the relatively acute nature of the issue. I'm not seeing scraped or roughed tissue ahead of the eye though, which may discount the banging into something hypothesis.

He (she?) has been wonderfully healthy. Plump. Active. Out and about. Eating everything. Even from my fingers.

36 hours or so ago I noticed he (for the sake of argument) seemed to be sequestering himself under an overhang. Now I notice the eye issue. He came out for the last of my Rod's Food, and once again later for marine cuisine, but no so much for the dried but not roasted nori.

If I can get a pic, I will.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
