Advice on what macro algae tangs WON'T eat

Hello,
I've posted in the macro forum, thought that I can also get information from tang keepers.
I'm interested in putting some red (hopefully) macros in my anemone tank. So far, I've got Sargassum, shoal grass, and some codium.

I would like to add one red macro that tangs would preferentially NOT eat.
I have seeded other tasty algae in there and am ready to put a small zebrasoma or tomini in to keep it trimmed. My hope is that the less desireable will be allowed to grow and fill in the tank. This will be an anemone-clown only tank....plus a tang.

I'm interested in a red macro that will grow tall instead of bushy and flat. Anyone have suggestions?

Here is a picture of what I just got, hoping it will fit in. However, after reading a little more, it looks like it may get eaten as well?
It is a red fern algae:

Here are the tank's inhabitants at this point:

Advice on what red macro that would give some height would be appreciated. I do plan to add some taller live rock in the back for the tang in the future.

Also, I have high flow (approx. 12-15,000 gph) and high lighting (400w mogul) in there if that helps people with their recommendations.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Wow - what a beautiful tank.
Are you going to keep only carpet anemones, or other types, too?
What are you going to do when they all get HUGE??
My personal favorite is the aurora....
When I was last diving in Indonesia, Banggai cardinals were practially sharing carpets - both with skunk clownfish and clarkiis for sure... can't remember if anything else... But it was a sight to behold.

Thanks teemee, I am only keeping these as long as they will stay with me.
The tank is a 3 foot cube, 150 gallon deep dimension tank and the only fish will be the clowns and the tang.

I really hope to pull off the vision I have for this tank. I feel like a few more tweaks and I may have a chance.

I think that macro would get eaten by tangs, Maiden's hair won't.

Your tank looks awesome, love all the fauna, really natural looking.
Do you dose phyto or what do you use to acheive all the fauna growth?

Thanks reef doug, I was hoping to find something that isn't as tasty that isn't maiden's hair or halimeda. I don't dose anything. I just seeded it with fauna I had from my other tank(s) and let it go for a few months.

Are there any red's that fall into this category? Does Dragon's tongue fall into this category?
