after having my african blues/ Blue hornets for almost a month i figured i would share some growth pictures from when i first got them up until now.

Then: 1 polyp frag

now: about 9 polyps popping up.

i am assuming this is pretty good growth from only starting with a single polyp and so far they are very healthy. always open and no signs of melting so far " KNOCK ON WOOD!!!"

pretty good spurt from 1 polyp. I'm happy my deepwaters are poping out babies already same with my PH's

 with my luck they will grow super fast and when i have a nice colony they will all melt away!

i was very surprised at the growth i am getting with this frag. i woulda expected it to be alot slower.

curently they are in a 58g tank with a current outer orbit fixture that has been converted to the following:

...................39w T5 Blue plus................
...................39w T5 75.25.....................
...................150w 14k pheonix..............
...................39w T5 aquasun 10k..........
...................39w T5 Blue plus................

they are about 10" from the light with good flow. i have alot of flow in my tank but it is not direct flow. meaning everything is dispersed and i have no dead spots. sorta like a wave machine but the poor mans version

also i do not feed any of my zoanthids. i feed heavily every other day with a mix of food i made up. basicly alittle bit of everything mixed together. i also make sure i turn off my main pump so the food stays in the DT until everything has a chance to eat some. so for about 20-30 minutes i leave the pump off but the power heads still on so there is still flow. i dont know if this is 1 of the things that is helping my tank do as good as it is but i dont see it hurting so i will continue to do this until i see a problem with it. i hope that answered everybodies questions.
