aggression between CB and clowns

well today we started to take down the 29 which only had a cb angel in it. I put the cb in my 40 which has 2 black clowns that have been there for over 9 months, a bicolor blenny from around 7 months ago, and a scooter blenny from a month or so ago.

So all the fish should have had time to call a spot in the tank "their own" and whatnot except for the angel...so the angel should not be boss.

However i just put the CB in about 2 hours ago and there is a bit of aggression out of him. He's nipped at my male clown a bit...the fins are a bit chewed up on the clown.

So i decided i needed to rearange everything to make it like new so they wouldnt fight, which should have worked right? Well i guess not. I just turned the lights out (i usually run them during the night when i'm home) so hopefully they'll settle down by morning after the night.

But my female clown doesnt let me touch a thing in the tank lol, so i pulled her out and began to rearrange stuff in peace. When i was done switching stuff up, i noticed that the CB now also has torn fins. This is not fun.

What do i do? I'm pretty sure i'll end up taking that CB out and trading/selling to someone. I hate to just give up on a fish so fast because it really is cool looking...but i do not want my clowns dead as they just started spawning (i think i saw some eggs from the last one, but nothin happened...my next project..)

(btw my tank looks way better now that i rearranged i think. Its still real cloudy and nothing is open, but here's a pic)

black clown can be very aggressive ...
i just got two very very big ones i hope they not get aggressive

but my other clowns i have are every aggressive i put my have in the tank and the male halls off and bites me and draws blood and he is very small

Put a big net in the tank over by the clowns for a few days. IT is what I use when my BP tang goes after a newcomer

also is there anyone that would be interested in the CB angel? It did perfectly fine with the regular orange ocellaris clowns i used to have in the 29, but for some odd reason it hates the black ones.

I'd be interested in trading for another fish that is reef safe and would fit in a 40 breeder. I'd like to have something w/color as well (kinda why i added this guy).

He's only got one fin that's nipped up a bit but not too bad (yet). All other fish in my tank he's fine with so far....just the clowns that he hates.

Edit: I'm gonna try and catch him after baseball tonight. If i get him, i'll hold him in my sump till someone can trade for him.

Clint, i will also do the same for the bicolor. Was gonna get him yesterday but got all tied up with the stinkin CB :)
