Have had these 2 Clownfish in our frag tank for over a yr and they never seemed like the "Happy Couple" as they say. I was watching them tonight and they seemed to be getting pretty aggressive towards a snail that wandered over into their corner of the tank. They kept slapping it with their tails and pushing at it.
Found out why when I got closer to the tank and saw this:

Its pretty funny because my son and I just today watched the video that johnstires posted and wondered why we had never seen any eggs in our tanks when we have a pair in each.

They are just your everyday tank bred and raised orange/white and black banded a. perculas. I really kind of wish our black ones were the ones that laid eggs. They paired off early in life and are inseparable...

yellowslayer13,
Unfortunately no. I just don't have the time or experience to attempt to this time around. I may in the future now that I know they are egg layers and I can get all the stuff together to do so the right way.

Son took this pic today and you can now see the eyes quite clearly as well as a more defined body color.... Kind of wish I had the time and equipment to try and raise these as its been pretty interesting watching the egg progression.

He took these with a Nikon Coolpix L3 P&S we bought him awhile ago for a trip to D.C. He has a Canon 40 that the school issued him with a macro lens as well as our Rebel xti and this is easier just to point and shoot to get the quick pics

Just wanted to update with some more pics
We have definite bone formation and formed eyes eyes now. These things sure develop fast:

Nice! Yeah, I agree with what 'adtravels' said. Breeding clowns, are happy clowns. Happy clowns, come from full bellies:) (Yes, mocking the California cheese add)
