AI Controller with DIY LED'S?

Has anyone ever used the aquailluminations controller with a diy led setup? I am going to hang three modules of 24 cree xr's over my 210 and would like to use the ai controller. I am buying three of the dimmable ultra premium 24 led kits from rapid led. Thanks for looking!

I think the AI controller sends data on a serial port to a micro-controller in their Sol units. I think it might be challenging to reverse engineer their design.

Yes all it sends is data . The main board in the led fixture does the dimming. The AI controller wont work with anything else

Exactly. However there are controllers around that can be used (e.g. Profilux and others)
