AI Prime

Has anyone purchased an AI Prime lately? I am looking into potential lights I can put over a future aquarium and I'm intrigued by the lower price tag along with the built in WiFi for control via my phone and tablet. Other than reading the reviews on how much the app sucks (which hopefully will be resolved by the time I get mine), what has been your experience with the light?

I bought mine in August and have it over a nano tank and I think it's fine. I haven't had any complaints about it. You can control each of the colors independently to mix whatever colors you like and you can control the lights manually (ie. turn the red light on at night to see what your nocturnal critters are up to) or automatically each day. I haven't used the storm or coral acclimation features.

I like being able to use my phone or tablet as the controller for the light. I currently have my phone, an ipad and an ipod all able to control it, depending on what's in reach at the moment.

I'm running one over a 29g biocube, and three more over my 56g. The app continues to improve, both on my iPhone and the web interface. I have grown to prefer the web interface through my laptop, but either will get the job done.

I've heard of issues with the light drooping a bit. Oldbones I know you mentioned you had a little. Leemosh what about you? Or has AI fixed that now?

The first of four I bought back in April drooped. The next three did not, the mount has been fixed.
