My female has a aiptasia growing on her side. Has this happen to anyone before? i was going to take it off the a tweezers. oh yea my males pregnancy was a false alarm.
I have not had it happen but I have heard of it before. I would suggest getting it off of her but I don't think I'd use tweezers. If it were my horse, I would used my hand and a finger nail to control what I was doing. My horses are used to being handled though...keep in mind, she will be stressed out after you do this.
Any aiptasia cells remaining will regrow the aiptasia. I would probably try a fresh water dip to remove it, matching pH and temperature of the tank water to the fresh water used for dipping. Hopefully it will shrivel and drop off in the fresh water.
actually it came out ok. i took her and put her in a container and scratched/peeled it off with my finger nail. its 2 days and the spot looks normal. you cant even tell anything was wrong.
