Aiptasia...

Ok, I have seen aiptasia in my tank off and on for the past 2 months... but, they never get bigger than the tip of a pencil. And then they disappear!

What could possibly be eating them, the only things that have been in my tank the longest are these little grey legged hermits and a porcelain anemone crab.

I also just found an almost non-existant brittle star today.

Could one of those be eating the aiptasia or am I just incredibly lucky?

Brown, sometimes clear, wiry looking anemones. They are tiny, tiny, tiny. I had one growing on sand, I would say I am 90% sure they are aiptasia, and if not they are too tiny for me to get a pic of, and the one I just found wont be there tomorrow morning.

Nudibranchs eat them? Oh yeah, I read something about that, but isn't that nudibranch quite large? I think I would have seen him by now with how many night time searches I do with the flash light lol.
