Air Scrubbing New Craze on Facebook....?

The mess is all around the tank unless you have an almost airtight cover.
Any electronic devices nearby will also get damaged by the aerosolized saltwater. I had all that happening. It's not just theorizing.

That would only be if your getting large bubbles in the display. Small bubbles aren't even detectable on the surface and won't cause salt creep, mist, splatter etc.

Plus one.
You don't want the air bubbles huge or too many. It's best to have the limewood airstone about a inch away from your return pump in the sump. You need to have a valve so you can fine tune the bubbles. I've been bubbling since the beginning of the year every night for three hours. Highly recommend doing it. Elgant Corals came up with a cheap easy way to aerate our tanks.

I had to put mine in front of my closed loop pump, My return pump with start making alot of noise and stop working, it does not like all the air.
It seems to be working well at the input for the closed loop.
