Air Stone?

I am setting up a 10 gal nano with only biological filtration, bare bottom, lots of live rock, corals and one fish and some cleaners. Do I need an airstone or not?

Not if you have a lot of surface water agitation .

air stones are a pain in saltwater. You get salt creep from the bubbles splashing. Gently agitating the surface with a powerhead works fine and is less messy. (at least thats my option)

Agree w/ the above. Not needed if you have sufficient flow, and it will make a mess.
