Air Water Ice's Float valve

I have one of those connected to a 48G RO water reservoir. I hand tighten the nut and it doesn't leak at all. But I don't let it stay pressurized for too long. Normally I leave the reservoir filling overnight and shut it off in the morning. So it may be pressurized for only a few hours.

If it starts leaking after some time, then it may be possible that it's receiving too much water pressure.

I use a couple of those. Never had a problem with it leaking. Put a tad of Teflon tape around the threads and try to tighten then. It will help the nut spin and you can get it tighter.

I think air water & ice is having problems...they screwed up a recent order of mine...and seem to be just plain LAME for lack of a better word...proceed with caution...

I just put a bit of teflon tape around the ferrule. That did the trick. Not exactly your suggestion tkeracer619, but certainly the inspiration for the solution. Thanks!
