Albuquerque Aquarium

Dug up this old thread - Albuquerque Aquarium trip July 2008. Check out all the pics and videos! Was a lot of fun and we got to meet some of the local reefers. The behind the scene tour was liked the most I think. At the time we elected to do this in the summer when the kids were out of school. Any thoughts on maybe doing this again? I could coordinate again with the aquarium staff if there is interest. Maybe think about it then bring it up in the meeting?

Yes that would be great. Hold a joint meeting! I know last time there was some frag swapping with the NMOK group also. Good ideas!

That would be quite a drive! I went up there last year and the road between Raton - Santa Fe was murder!!!

Bro, you aint lying!!!! That part of the drive was the most hellaciously boring drive I have EVER been on!!! No land markers, just nothing. 2.5 hours of pure driving hell! Flat as all hell till you hit the CO border. Make sure you have coffee, 5 hour energy drink, or someone to slap you to keep you awake.

Just to let everyone know: we discussed this yesterday with everyone agreeing it would be fun to do. We tentatively penciled in July as the month. Probably the weekend of the 16th or the 23rd. More to follow!

Hey, thanks reign we really appreciate it! How many are you taking in April? Just wondering how many they accept at any one time now?

We are going to do 25 peeps..with families it adds up fast..he may be able to do more but it would be split due to elevator at facility ..just start planning ahead..my contact has fri and sat off so sun would probably be best (that is what we are doing)
