Algae covering Zoos

I have this red encrusting algae that looks like coralline but has a dark red (maroon) color .It seems to be growing over some of my zoos and smuddering them.Anyone have this experience and what steps did you take to overcome this. Thanks in advance for all replies

it dosn't look hard, but more kinda like cotton like or scruffy

It it with some more flow, gently wipe off the red crap. Is your tank new ??

your bulbs prob need replacing? more flow, phosphate removal media

This algae is very common, it was id as a coralline algae.It is found on a lot of LR. I wish I could post a pic but very computer and camera illiterate If you look on your rock you would probably see some.Sorry I cannot be more specific but if someone could tell me how to show other pics on this site I would appreciate it. Thx for your replies
