I'm wondering if anyone can identify the algae in these pictures and if they would know the best way to get rid of it or what eats it:
A little background. My father added a 90 gallon tank to his existing system and utilized dry marco rock and some reef saver rock that had been curing in sw for a few months. After setting up the tank this algae quickly took hold and covered his rocks to the point where we took them all out and scrubbed and soaked them in vinegar. It has since spread to his frag tank and is reappearing on the newly introduced rocks. It seems very invasive and we are at a loss as to how to get rid of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
