algae id

I have this algae growing I want to know what it can be. Its smooth kind of leathery And grows in patches
My tank has been set up for two years AMM. 0 nitrite 0 nitrate < 5

If you mean the red stuff, it is most likely Peyssonnelia capensis, a coralline algae.
I have heaps of this one and it looks great.

Okay I was just making sure its not cyano red slime. Its a beautiful algae and grows is disc like patches I have a few more patches within my love rock and sand

And its growing in an area that has very high direct flow

Mine love the flow as well.
There is a nice one in this thread, they can come in a range of red to gold.
They are extremely common here in semi nutrient shoreline waters with small to slight swells.
