Im hoping someone can help me identify this algae and let me know if it is a nuisance of not(tank is only a month and a half old, not an established tank).
This first one is in the middle of the picture and is brown/dark brown(its more brown then in the picture) with bubbles on it. Im 90% sure the algae is creating the bubbles since other things get bubbles on them but go away easily and this always has it on there. It looks like diatoms but with bubbles.
This one is kind of hard to describe. Its dark red, almost maroon. Its flat, does not change shape with the bumps on the rock. Its almost like a web of slime or gel. In the picture above you can see it in the top right as well.
In this picture of my whole tank shows the color much better.
