Algae Identification

Hello, everyone! Can anyone tell me what kind of algae this is and if it is good for a reactor refugium? Thank you.

On second thought, I’m wondering if it’s Bryopsis.

Now I’m backing away from Bryopsis.

What’s it feel like? Rigid or more hair like?

More rigid and crunchy. Almost iridescent when it's out of the water and under the lights.

Okay, not likely Bryopsis then. Not something I’ve seen before and I’ve been in this hobby a long time.

Some kind of turf algae would be my guess.

I’m not too skilled with algaes. My best guess would be a type of turf but that’s just a guess looking at other algaes online but nothing has as good of shot as you do

Wow, zooming in on the first set of pics, (the pic on the right), it's a fascinating algae. Unfortunately, I have never seen one like it.
