Algae Scrapper

This guy posted about an item from HopeDepot called a WalPro in the general forums that worked great for scrapping the Algae in his tank. So I went to see what he was talking about.

What he found was called a WAL-BOARD 6in Plastic Taping Knife on the website. The website is a little off because it was showing the picture of a 10 inch plastic blade for only 89 cents.

They also have a 4 inch ($0.73) and 2 inch($0.49) version, and even a corner unit with a nice angle on it for just over a buck.

I don't know about you all, but I get so sick of buying a brand new "Pro" replacement blade that gets bent on the first thing it touches, and the plasic replacement blades break even easier.

Just passing on a little info. I rather pay a buck for something that will work just as well and last longer then something that cost me $4.

thats a good idea, I went one step cheaper and had lil Eric make me a couple different ones from scraps of acrylic, one is about 1" wide by 30" long he cut a 45 on the end and it works awesome.
Thanks Eric.

No problem, let me know when want to swing by again and I can whip you up one. :D Actually it was Russ's (Green Wrasse) idea. :)

Give us enough time, we will have you making all sorts of crazy things we think of with all that acrylic.

Mmm, "Clownfish with fricking laser beams attached to their heads!" snicker

****, sorry Dan I didn't mean to grab your scraper.
You can have it back if you want :( As long as I can keep the long scraper, I love that thing
