Decided it was time for a death match with the nudi that was found on the same rock with him. :)

I'm not sure if it is actually a zoa killer or not, I'm going to move them into my zoa predator jar and see what becomes of it.
They actually weren't fighting. It just landed on the nudi when I swirled the container.

You take the best zoo predator shots, it is only a shame that the subjects are so readily available.

sad to see you found this critter, i had a few a while back and lost half of my green meenies..... thats a zoanthid predatory spider they are very, very, very, bad for zoas. they will eat any they come in contact with.
be on the look out for eggs because if there is one ,there's bound to be more and they reproduce quickly.

good luck .......al

I have read that zoa spiders lay thier egg inside the polyp of the zoanthid. The only way to find them is after they hatch......

WOW, i have a Canon A60, and a Canon A620, maybe i need to rig up a lense setup like that

If you have an old SLR lens you can just hold it up there to get a taste.

I'll bet the 620 would make a smoking macro machine.
