Do you mean 50ml? 50mg is 1.25ml.

In my 90g with a couple lps and sps. I dose 50mg of 2 part everyday.
With a swing like that I would go with a dosing device.

two part vs Kalk

I dont like two part additvessince dosing is often challenging . I prefer Kalk and have never experienced alkalinity issues what is the ph of your top off water?

So last night I dosed another 40ml and Alk increased from 6 dkh to 7 dkh. 24 hours later, i retested and it stayed at 7.0 dkh (didn't drop since last night). I then dose another 40ml tonight hoping it will increase the alk but it STAY AT 7.0 dkh.

Cal is at 400, mg at 1360 and my ph is low at 7.7

Any idea why my Alk is so unstable?

I think we'll need a few days of measurements, at least, to get a reasonable trend line. If you measure and dose at the same time each day for a while, it's easier to get a good idea of what's happening.
