Alk looks cloudy on auto doser

Is it normal for Alk to look cloudy the last few inches in the dosing tube? It's raised about an inch or so above the water line. I'm using BRS Soda Ash with a Jebao DP-4. I did a manual dose in a cup and cleared it but it came right back. Anything to worry about?

my brs alk is very cloudy too, so i also dose in the sump because if i dose in the tank its causes a big cloud

Nope. Its normal for it to be cloudy when adding alk. It should just go right away. You should always add in a high flow area

Since I have no sump it is being dosed right next to an AC 70 and a powerhead so it getting dispersed fairly quickly.

You're just getting build up on the end of tubing where it sits and is exposed to the air in between doses. Normal as can be.

A bit of buildup is normal. You can verify that that's the issue with a pipe cleaner, if you're worried.

Well I manually dosed it into a cup and the cloudy came right back. Oh well my first *** experience with a doser lol.

can you move the tube up a little bit? mine gets some buildup at the end of the tube I just clean it off when I get around to it.
