Hey
Well my resources are ago and plan on start bringing in a bucng of clams. My question is on fertatlizer and nitrogen, i hear many clams use good amount of nitrogen and with a lot may need to supplment it. True any ideas??

You don't really need to add excess nitrogen other than fish feedings. They will do fine with plenty of light without any predators and stable calcium/alk levels.

My next issue is alk/clacium part. I have a kalk reactor thats not set-up just been waitinga little to get it going, but do you think that will be a good source for the clams?

Yeah it will be a great source. If you want to get even better growth, try the calcium reactor-kalk reactor combo.

I doubt your main objective is growth though. Most likely keeping beautiful healthy clams is your goal. A kalk-reactor will work perfect for your needs. Good luck, and post some pictures when it's all up and running.
