All Glass Aquarium Sold?

Is this old news I just missed?

Went to look at AGA's website to get tank dims - Their website now comes up as Aqueon Products

Same company or were they sold?

I just called them - They answer the phone "All Glass central Aquatics"

Now I'm confused.

I spoke with the booth rep at the Drs Foster and Smith Conference last weekend (up in Rhinelander) and they are consolidating brands into a single company much like Marineland is now in United Pet Group with a bunch of brands, API is now in with Rena, Aquarian and Pondcare and for that matter how 90% of the "competitor" brands of frozen pizza in the grocery store are all made by Kraft nowadays.

they are all owned by the same parent company...Central Garden and pet....

Central Aquatics owns Aqueon (formerly All-Glass), Oceanic, Coralife, Energy Savers (which was absorbed by Coralife), Kent Marine, and Zilla (reptile stuff).

They dropped the All-Glass name because to those not in the know, All-Glass sounded more like that was the type of tank (as opposed to acrlyic) instead of an actual brand. Aqueon no longer makes the same size tanks as Oceanic, and Oceanic tanks now come with Starphire front panels standard.
