all RO/DI cartridges the same

I just got a Kent marine ro/di unit with a tank I purchased which needs all the filter cartridges replacing.

Do cartridges from other brands fit or does it have to be Kent marine cartridges?

The reason I ask is I am sure I read somewhere that other brands cartridges are the same but I cant remember where I read it.

I can't say they haven't changed but I'm still using the base Kent canisters I got some 10 years ago......standard 10" & RO membrane work fine.
