Could you give me the address of the Home Depot down there in Indianapolis? I have business in Indy about once a month and take the corporate jet down there. If they have any next time I have to go, I'll just drive down. It's only a 4 hour drive from Michigan.
Also, how much did you pay for it? I just drove to five different HDs in the Detroit area tonight and only found 3 bags left at the store on Ford Road, just east of I-275. (For all of you local reefers.) The sand was actually Southdown! About a month ago, I found one bag left of the "Oldcastle" sand at the Taylor HD and only paid $2 for it. Tonight I paid $6.99/bag.. Still better than $25 at the fish store....
I need like 6 more bags to make me happy!

For all you Michiganders, I just called the Canton HD and they are placing an order for Southdown to replace the 3 remaining bags they had before last night when I emptied the place... I still need more, and I told the manager that I'd pass the word around so he can sell his whole pallet full...

55 Southdown bags at 50 lbs each make up a pallet. I think 16 pallets make up a truckload.
A better approach might be to order one from a Home Depo. Find one that has actually sold the sand from their store and call them to order it.
IDEA#1) Have them order it and tell them you want it shipped to your local store for pick up
IDEA#2) Get all the info to process the order faxed to you from the far away store that has the sand. Then go into your local store and show them how they can order it

For those of you looking for the exact sku for SD, it is..................... 9060420100. The bags as sold here in Pa. are the usual red and blue, and have the picture of the small boy in red suspenders. Ample amounts are still available at my own HD, but it appears that is not so outside eastern Pa.
