So I found out why my GARF bonzai frag started browning in addition to a red planet frag that lost color that I attributed to a tumble face down in the sand about 2 weeks ago (it is booger sized so I did not notice it gone).
I pulled both of these and gave them a strong iodine bath and that cleared out the colony crawling around on them but I have a number of acros that can not be pulled from the tank. PE is looking much better on both now.
Has anybody experimented with anything on the following page http://www.drugs.com/international/milbemycin-oxime.html or have an alternative to Milbemycin Oxime? (Or a source of the original they can PM me about?)
is this an acceptable alternative? Anyone have dosing instructions for in tank? http://www.drgsmarineaquaculture.com/sps-lps-coral-dip-solution.cfm
current coral stock is: (any other coral interactions?)
Red sea Xenia
GSP
Toadstool
assorted zoanthids/palyotha
florida ricks and other shrooms.
acan lord colony
euphilla - frogspawn and hammer
duncan
calustrea, trumpet
Pectinia
various montipora, acropora, stylophora, and birdsnest the sps side.
I know inverts have to be pulled, they can hang out in my 10 gallon qt for a while.
Thank you for any input you can give.
