Hey Michael,
Is this piece of equipment meant to be attached into the top of a canopy so the I Bars can slide in and out?
That is what it looks like but just checking.

Also, if that is the purpose do they come with options for mounting and what is the approximate price in the 48" size?

yes, you can slide our I-bars (with "BP"-brackets) in the ALP3.

Mounting: Hard to explain, I think the pictures in our catalogue explain it better.
