I agree !! If he would have brought it to my attention with out insulting me i would have gladly givin his money back! It does make a differance
on what you've done for people in the past When someone you considered a friend in the hobby and someone you've really helped out in the past takes a conversation that was and should have stayed in private to the puplic forum and tells everyone that knowingly ripped him off! It stings a little. All because i made a mistake on what a coral was called. Its just name!! He saw the picture on my thread and liked it came over and saw it in person and liked it and then 2 weeks later decides hes not happy with it.
2nd quote-
Again i agree!! But when you make an honest mistake and that person calls you a liar, says you knowingly misrepresented a coral and ripped him off your not gonna be to motivated to help that person out. I dont need his money but wont give it back on principle alone.
Reading your two replies its sounds to me like you agree you made a mistake and it deserves to be corrected, but because you think Austins a jerk for how he's responded, it justifies you not doing the right thing. I don't agree with that personally and I don't think it's the mature thing to do, but thats me and its my opinion and I'm not judging. Speaking for myself, I couldn't do it. I don't know you or Austin personally although I've communicated with both of you over time and you both seem pretty decent. I hope some good communication reconciles this sitch.
BTW Austin, I bought the pixie dust favia 14 months ago from a fellow reefer based on a pic which showed it as a blue with pink. When I got it it was brown and it turned into a bright green with pinkish red. It definitely doesn't look like the pic I saw. It still is real nice. Here's what mine looks like. Its on bottom right of pic
