Amazing Pet Store

This weekend Jeff, Tim and I found the most amazing pet store ever. Its up in Lansing and is called Preuss Pets. This place has the most amazing stock of corals and fish that I have ever seen. They have SEVERAL coral tanks packed with everything from frags to LARGE corals. SPS, LPS, softies you name it they have it. This is the only place that I have ever seen that even sells out of their display tanks (several of them). The best part about the place is everything is extremely healthy. There isn't even any bad algae in any of the tanks. Even their frag tanks would make an awesome display tank. Prices are some of the best I have ever seen and on some of the frags the more you buy the cheaper it is. I guarantee that if you go up there it will amaze you as much as it did us. If you have nothing to do and a day to blow, shoot on up there and be as amazed as we were.

Dwayne's not exaggerating this time... This place is the real deal, I thought they were a little hit and miss on their prices though, $66 for a bucket of reef crystals??? Give me a break...:eek1:
They did have, in stock, a lot of items that aren't normally on LFS shelves. If you've ever been to Phishy Business imagine a salt water supply like his X10 then add an equal amount of fresh water fish and plants, other pets and outdoor pond supplies. We had corals in the car and the outside temp was 0 so we didn't have time in the 20 minutes or so we were there to see it all. Preuss is the Cabella's of pet stores!!!
It's quite a drive from here but I'd hate to miss it if I were passing through.

I think I would up that to 50X. As far as the prices go, the salt was the only thing I saw that was way out in left field. Most other prices compared to online pricing.

i went up there a few years ago before i was into saltwater. Pretty amazing store.

Yeah I went up there back in Jan for the first time since they moved to the new store. Needless to say I came out poorer than I had planned. Frags galore!

Probably the nicest reef section I've seen in a store. Salty Critter is pretty nice too, but not nearly the selection of frags or equipment in stock.
