Ambient Hood temps

was wander if anyone else monitors the ambient air temp in there hoods , yes I do LOL, my philo is you can never have too much info at you disposal, Well back to the subject, the questions are

1 what is your hood air temp mean low?

2 what is you hood air temp mean high?

3 what is the degree diff between floro on versus MH?

4 what is the diff in tank temp versus hood temp?

reason I am asking would be to see at what air temp above tank temp causes a problem

i dont monitor the temps but i can easily see how someone with an enclosed canopy and halides could see a large tank temp increase with the lights on vs. lights off due to added hood temp.

might go buy a temp for the hood now, just another thing to through money at
