hey guys,

hoping to get an id ( without a pic ) i can grab a pic tonight. basically the features are as follows:

the nems look like a buble tip but do not bubble. they are not bubbles but the tenticle spacing and length are about the same.

the foot / base is a light pinkish / white color. the tenticles are almost a pale purple / brown color and the tips are white.

true percs host in them.

these are at my buddies house. he has a bunch of them and i like the way they look.

as said i will post a pic but im sure the nem gurus around here can do it without the pic!

It's most likely BTA/E. quadricolor.
Are these anemones reproducing in his tank?
Magnifica can split, but typically not at the rapid pace that BTA does. If "he has a bunch of them", they're most likely BTA.
BTA's don't always have bubbles on their tentacles.

he has red bta that spawn, not split. these nems however split.

They are most likely BTA's as well. One good pic and we should be able to remove all doubt. All anemones have the ability to spawn. Not all of them split though.

He says it was sold as a white bubble tip. Pic coming tomorrow as he has his tank apart for water change and nems are all closed
