Amphipods eating coral

They don't bother my tongue, Duncan, suns, hammers, favia, they are picking at a open brain but it had a bit of a knick and is new to the tank. Think it's recovering. The Suns catch the pods and eat them. Pods bother the crap outa my stomatellas but don't seem to be able to do any harm. So no so far that is all. I'm still curious why you said the coral was sick? Is there something I am missing that you were able to determine from the pic because I'd love to learn.

Lol full circle, anyway the point I was making is that it is not always the case that a coral is sick when being preyed upon, I have witnessed it, the coral was perfectly happy. I had trouble with this coral, finding the right placement, then about 6 months ago I made the mistake of putting some peppermints in that almost killed it completely, since then it has encrusted and grown nicely like never before. I had a 6 line who decided to be a skydiver when i wasn't home, he had no parachute. I have considered a mandarine but don't know that it would sustain and am most likely going to go with another 6 or a yellow. To add I have recently significantly reduced my feeding so I am thinking that may have contributed to the attacks.
