Hi All,
I would never usually post about new critter's so early in the game but these critter's are far from usual. I have returned from Lord Howe with Mcc's in tow and while I don't really have any time to answer questions or go into detail I thought everyone might be interested in a bit of a teaser picture. In time I should be able to make it back on to this forum to answer questions but until then I hope you all enjoy this pic.

Ryan.

I have posted this on the clown forum as well, but as these guys are for a breeding project (and this forum has always been very helpful to me) I thought I might sneak in a double post.

Thanks for the comments everyone:D . I am on day 5 and so far no serious problems.
Here is a replacement pic.

I was at Ryans place today very nice looking fish.I know you have some better photos Ryan when will we see them:D

Hey Mate,
Thanks to you I do have many much better quality pics now :D . Thanks again;) . I just spent ages hosting them ( you can click on my red house to have a look see), I suppose I should chuck one on here at least for all your trouble:rollface: . Just give me a sec and I will get it sorted.

If i put one of the photos on the back of one of the tanks it might take Ryan a while to work out they are not eating so as to give me time to get a pair back to my place.

Hhmm:confused: , is that why that pair hasn't been moving around too much today:D .

I just realised I never posted that pic, I uploaded it yesterday and when something came up here I never made it back, here it is now.

Ryan,

as I did not yet have the pleasure to dive in down under I would liek to have some information on this fish - which will never show up in Europe :(

What is the prefered anemone A.mccullochi is associated with?

Any chance for a better picture of the couple together which you would like to contribute here:

Amphiprion mccullochi

I would prefere tp replace the pic by a one of a living animal.

Thanks for your information

As a rule i dont realy like large clowns might be why i only have Ocellaris and Percula. After seeing the Mccullochi being so black with the white tail and the white to blue marking on the gill realy grows on you fast. One of the females would be around 5 inch long and so fat. I only have good things to say Ryan and could find room for a pair.

Hi Peter,
I would be happy to provide any information I can. I will send you a pm with some options for the pic. It would be a pleasure to replace the original pic with a shot of a living one :).

The only anemone I observed the Mcc's with was the BTA and in most cases it was a green-tipped brown colour variation. The anemones I have them with are actually from Lord Howe to.

Oh, and if I am successful with what I am doing, there is no reason why the Mcc's will not make it to Europe in the future;) .

Ds04,
I can tell the Mcc's have really had an impact on you:) . That will teach you to observe them in person. :) I'm sure you could find room for one of these beauties, pity I am legally bound to keep these guys in my possession:p  ...oh what a world :D
