An allardi and a saddleback, can it be done?

Hello, recently due to a problem with our upstairs air conditioning my tank overheated and i lost the female of my mated pair of allardis along with other fish. Its only been a few days so im certain that the male is still a male, and so today i bought him a new clownfish. A black saddleback. So far it seems fine, the saddleback is small and i believe at the genderless point in his life. the two fish are exhibiting good beahvior, mild chasing and submissive twitching. the little one follows the male and so far they have stuck together. Any thoughts or opinions on what else ,if anything, i should do?

They might make a permanent pair. It is also common for them to act like a pair initially and then as they become more comfortable with the new situation (may take as much as a year) they will become less of a pair and you may find one chewed up or chased out of the tank onto the floor. This comes from my and other's experience trying to make some mixed pairs.
