hey guys this is a pair of my anampses chrysocephalus females that I received from NYA. They are doing well and readily acclimated to my DT well. I opted to not QT against better judgement but so far they are doing great. Only time will tell....Enjoy the Photos.

That is a tough Tamarin to keep in QT.Ive tried to keep two with no success. I know a guy locally here in SD who got some from the same collection(he dove to collect them), he had the same results. He did have one that was in his tank for a few weeks, eating well, and died. I would say they do not have a very good survival rate in captivity....

I think the issue lies in qting them. I feel like they need a established tank to survive. I'll let u know how it all goes, does anyone know if females can run male?

I'm not sure of the question. Do you mean turn male? If you have a few females, the dominate female might turn male in a well established tank. Just guessing though. I've had a yellowtail for close to 4 years now ever since it was 2 inches. Now 6 inches and still female.

yea that was the question. I have 2 females so and was hoping the larger would 1 day turn. either way Im happy with them, such elegant fish

It is probably my least expensive wrasse I have, and yet I get more comments on her then any other wrasse I own. Crazy huh.
