i just talked to the guy who i bought all my stuff from and i may be taking all my stuff back and getting my money. the stand was in rough shape and i dont think the skimmer worked either atleast it didnt when i tried it. so i found another tank i might get. but are these lights good? Orbit Current USA 1033

Ok well I'm going to keep it I got everything working me and my girlfriend are going to try fixing up the stand if ut doesn't look good I will pay for a new one lol. Ok so I finally figured out how the sump works. Now for the overflow. Can I nuy a new box for the over flow? If I drill?

I use RO-MAN too but if you use Melev you know if anything goes wrong he will try solve it as soon as he can because he is a well known member on RC and has his own forum incase you need help.

im not contradicting you in any way kane, i know your right, im just saying because im in the uk like you its easy to use ro-man, im not sure if melev would be able to give agreat service to me personally, theres no doubt his kit is superb, but probably better for the north american market due to shipping costs, your point is right of course about melev:)

If you put the units on the brace it's going to put strain on it and crack it. Or, just DIY the lights. And the cost of replacing 12 bulbs when you could just replace 8.

no the 36 inch have 7 bulbs. so it would be 14 the 72 inch has 12 builds so yeah i will save 400 and pay for 2 extra bulbs when the go out in like a couple years

But you will be putting strain on the brace and it will crack. And you will eventually save the $400 by only getting a 72" 12 bulbs fixture. You shouldn't just replace the bulbs when they go out, they ned replacing frequently.
