Anderson Family Reef - 1200 Gallon System

The tank is amazing! I love the yellow belly blue tang as well, not many keep great color like yours once they get that size, at least in my experience. The corals are stunning as well

Thanks for noticing the color on the yellow belly!

That dude is the number one fragger in the tank! Thanks to him I have tons of new frags to fill the frag tank!

I agree... His color is still amazing after all these years and systems! (3 years, 3 different systems!)

External overflow almost done

Now I'm thinking that the 3/4" was way overkill! It's actually pretty heavy and I'm wondering if the silicone will hold this bad boy to the frag tank???

I still need to polish the rounded edges and then it's ready!!!

Your 220 is a great sized tank! What size would you go to?

I would want something like a 8'x3'x2' maybe even 30" high... I believe that is like my dream tank that could be accomplished later in life when im much more established and stable. obviously we always want to go bigger, but major things would have to happen for me to even tinker wit that thought, but I think a tank I stated would be in realistic reach later in life... excuse me for saying this, more of a ha ha, but id prolly hump ur tank if it was mine!!! ok hahaha

****and gotta be honest, when I said that's prolly best idea, I was agreeing with you how he should get his wife something nice also

That might be the second nicest thing someone has ever said about my tank!!!

haha well atleast you have a vivid personality like your tank... im a fan of long and deep tanks. not so much height, mainly cuz its hard to reach, but I guess a real wide tank like yours would be hard also if it wasn't a peninsula style setup

Yea buddy!

My next tank will be 36" deep...and 48" wide and super long! :-) I love the depth as well!

Peninsula tanks rule until it comes to cleaning time! It is hard to reach a few spots in our tank!

I await to see how you'll attach that to the tank :D

I've had plenty of success with 795, but that was on the inside when the tank water pushes it against the back panel, not sure what would happen in the other direction.

Very true! It's always a two way street but i love making her happy. Many blessings to you and your family. Good luck keeping those toy cars out of the sump lol

Happy wife equals happy life! .... Large tank equals happy husband!

And to you buddy! Many blessings to you and your family!!

I'm balking right now but I have all the stuff to get the overflow mounted and rocking! Doing a little more research then I will either use the 3/4" one I made or just rock one out of glass... :headwally:

Thanks for your imput!
