coraltastic- thanks! I have been putting in new fish and the rock work is functioning as designed to provide lots of swim throughs and hiding spots while being open for lots of flow...

You should be very proud of yourself, you have created a piece of the ocean in your home. Watching the video and seeing the fish swim so freely is incredible; the fish look so happy swimming around that tank. You did a great job aquascaping and allowing a lot of free swim space.

I love that yellow belly hippo.

Nice newbies you got. I just added 4 more female Lyretail Anthias to my tank to go with the male and other 4 females. Plus I added 10 disbar anthias also and one happens to be male. Hows things going with your tank now?

dotcommer - Thanks, we love it, the kids love it and the Fish seem to be way happy and healthy! Fun Stuff! Thanks for the feedback!

troyholl - Thanks Troy! I like to have fish in all areas of the tank, top schooling, middle on the reef and some that like the sandbed. A variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Lots of action all over the tank at any given time...I really like the new tilefish!

FLAMAANGEL - Love that fish. He went strait into the sand and I have not seen him resurface. I have 8 yellow coris wrasses that may have given him a bad time...I'll keep you posted...

Newbie Aquarist - Sweet! do you have any pics of your anthias collection? Tank is rocking! I added a few sweet corals frags this week namely a purple monster and a tutuliensis.

I can only imagine how much nori you go through. I have a Powder Blue Tang, Gold Rim White Cheek Tang and a Blue Hippo Tang in my aquarium and I am literally replacing the sheets of Nori every hour. If not they start picking at the shell of clam and the clam stays closed in fear of its life.

Newbie Aquarist - thanks man! 80 is plenty... I think I'll stay there for a while! Your fish collection is awesome as well!

B1N4RY - you have a sweet tang collection as well! Keep them fed buddy! Hope they leave your clam alone! I need to feed more nori for sure!

Here are the Anthias pics you requested. I tried to get them all together but they didn't all pose.

dotcommer - thanks! Love all the movement of the fish in the tank!

Newbie Aquarist - that looks great! Nice mix of anthias! What is that fish left center of the picture?

Its a squareback anthias. Its a male turning back to female . If you are talking about the blurred fish I believe that's my convict tang. So far my anthias collection consist of a ? squareback anthias, 8 Lyretail anthias(1 male, 7 females) and 8 disbar anthias( 1 male, 7 females). I want the evansi and Pictillis anthias then Ill be done.

i was going to post some pictures of my 300g build im doing now but after looking at this i would be embarrassed.

top notch job.

ive noticed you dont quarantine your new fish. no problems so far?

Newbie Aquarist - great anthias selection! That will be awesome in your new set up!!!

mos90 - Post away buddy. I would love to see your 90! I guess I cheat a little by knowing all the local store owners and having the fish spend a few days/weeks in their copper based systems before I take them home and introduce them into my tank. So far so good but you are right I have gambled a bit on a few of the fish...
